Marvin Lender
Marvin Lender is the former owner and President of Lender's Bagel Bakery, Inc. and currently Manager of Lender Management, LLC, A Family Office. He served as National Chairman and National President of the United Jewish Appeal, now known as United Jewish Communities. He's closely involved with numerous Jewish philanthropies and educational programs.
Marvin co-founded the Holocaust Education Prejudice Reduction Program, a program which aims at eliminating prejudice by making school age children aware of the horrors of the Holocaust through education in the school systems about the Holocaust.
Marvin is also the Founding Co-Chairman of the Israeli American Jewish Forum a new initiative for dialogue and interchange. Its purpose is to provide a framework to facilitate dialogue between Israeli and American Jewish Leaders and to identify issues of common concern between Israeli and American Jews. The Israeli American Jewish Forum has opened communication among key decision-makers and community influentials. The Forum includes leading political figures, business people, philanthropists, and scholars from Israel and the United States.
Marvin is also Chairman of the Board of Yale-New Haven Hospital, Chairman of the Board of Israel Policy Forum and a member of the Board at his alma mater, Syracuse University.
